ThePitCrew are pleased to announce a brand new format for our Beginners Cup, to allow for close, clean racing amongst drivers at your pace as well as being able to fight for the championship podiums every Sunday!
The beginners cup is a place for drivers to be able to get to improve their track knowledge and race craft and improve under ThePitCrew ruleset whilst still being able to improve and move into the larger “serious” championships we run!
The championship will run every Sunday afternoon from 6PM UTC, exclusively for drivers who are rated via our brand new driver rating system PitSkill as:
Bronze
Amateur
Beginner
All races will be streamed under our brand new stream format, hosted by Callum Bethell on https://twitch.tv/thepitcrewtv!
When does it start?
Starting Sunday, March 14th 1800UTC, for 7 rounds we will have 2 leagues exclusively for beginner-bronze drivers on Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione, these will run right-alongside our Season 6 leagues and will use the same brand new ruleset which we will be introducing before the start of the season.
What cars will be used?
Assetto Corsa Competizione:
UK – Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage (2019)
Italy – Ferrari 488 GT3
Germany – Porsche 991 II GT3 R
Assetto Corsa:
Mini Cooper JCW Challenge (F56)
Our Assetto Corsa Competizione League will use 3 manufacturers, Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin, all competing to show which is the best car on the track, our Assetto Corsa league will use just the Mini JCW Challenge car for the races!
